Report

Yesterday and today i have been working on my introduction, discussion and conclusion of my report. I found the introduction the hardest and most time consuming of the whole report but i have finally completed it. I am now evaluating my report against the marking critria and making changes where needed.

Hand-in

Today i handed in my plan for the report. I got feedback which will help me now. My plan was approved and now i just need to test it on the weekend.

Report plan

I have finished by whole report plan today as it is due in two day time. I think i will hand it in one day early so i can definately have mine back for the week end.

First stage of report

1 Week assignment was given
Today I started to do my scaffold i started with my aim and this was the first aim i wrote:

To investigate the absorbency of difference brands of paper towel using cm to measure how high the water goes up the paper towel.

I then fixed it saying:

To investigate the absorbency of different brands of paper towel when the paper towel is partly submerged in water for 20 sec. The height the water rises will then be measured using cm.

I was then happy with my aim as it states all the variables and is a specific statement. I then moved onto the hypothesis and my hypothesis states:

The cheapest costing brand paper towel will be the least absorbent because it is manufactured cheaper resulting in less plant fibre added.



I also completed the variable although i did get confused with the dependent and independent but figured them out in the end with help from my science book.
